SafeWay’s S56 Series quick couplings meet ISO 7241-1 Series A dimensional requirements with improved performance over competitive interchanges (Aeroquip 5600, Parker 6600, Faste NV, etc.). The S56’s smaller footprint and lighter weight allow system design flexibility. Rugged construction and low pressure drop make this series ideal for applications including plant maintenance equipment, skid-steer loaders, snow plows, mining, dump trucks, gooseneck trailers, chemical transfer lines, and many more. This model has a 1/4″ body size with 1/4″ female pipe threads.

• A general purpose, fluid transfer quick coupling that provides higher burst pressure and superior flow to that of Aeroquip FD56 (5600) Series and Parker 6600 Series, while proving half-for-half interchangeability.

• Unique poppet style valving has a shorter overall length and less weight than other brands they replace.

• Manufactured from solid steel barstock.

• 100% leak tested.

• Ideal for minimal space applications.

• Heavy-duty detent ball latch design for reliable connection time after time.

• Uses solid steel barstock in its valving and retainers; no powdered metal parts. A higher number of detent (locking) balls and a specially hardened male tip (nipple) add to the overall integrity of the product and its higher rated working pressure.

• Unique poppet/seat design allows no extrusion gap, minimizing seal degradation under extreme pressures. Stainless steel valve springs and retainer rings are standard.
